Child Protection

The development process of a child can only be assured if the rights of the child are protected. The child watch Programme is designed in multifold to effectively ensure the rights of a child. In one hand the children from the streets and slums are involved in understanding their own rights and responsibilities. On the other hand, the outreach service mechanism tries to ensure the protection of the lost, abandoned, destitute and nowhere children. In the first fold, the out of school children are tracked and sent to school after providing them with a preparatory basic education. Often these children are found in drifting situations in the clutch of addictions. When such addict children are identified, rehabilitative actions are taken. The undernourished children are also taken under certain time-bound special nutrition programme. On the other hand, a 24*7 child protection team is on its toe to respond to “a cry for help” from sick / starved / weak / lost/abandoned child. Hive India, being committed to the protection of every child of the soil is on its crusade against child labor and a member of CACL (Campaign Against Child Labor) and involved in multiple state-level activities.
