HIVE India has been working in the field of community health since its inception. Being an organization committed to render doorstep services to the grassroot population living on the streets and in the slums of Kolkata, HIVE has stretched out its arms of primary health care services to them. Every year on an average, about 7000 patients are being served from the central and the mobile clinics. These patients are supported with free medicines and different diagnostic services. The continuous effort to build a bridge of effective communication between the beneficiaries and other existing medical facilities has yield commendable results. The formation of different community based volunteer groups have been instrumental in laying down the foundation of sustainable health program.
